Improvements to; My Account, address verification and document production

My Account – Delete user account

A new button has been added to “My account” to allow a user to delete their user account.

A pop-up will appear to confirm account deletion.

Sign up and My account – New username features

It is no longer necessary to create a username on the sign up page, just enter your email and password.

Your username will be generated automatically when you sign up to the portal.

A new 'Username' field has been added on the My Account page to allow you to change your APAS username.

Once you have saved your account details, the “Username” field will not be editable.

Address enhancements

The address now includes a separate Flat Name field.

Display text of the address and order of the fields to be:

Addresses are automatically verified in APAS when an address is selected from the gazetteer in the Portal and then transferred to APAS.

This address change has been applied to “My Account” and “Submit Building Control Application” for Applicant, Agent and Location addresses.

New configurations have been created to manage the gazetteer integration:

• ADRESS_LINK_USE_GAZETTEER
• ADRESS_LINK_REFRESH_DATA

Document production changes

The following templates are configurable via UI.

• Building Control Submission Receipt – Email template requesting the applicant to pay
• Building Control Application Submitted – Email template used when a application is submitted which sends an acknowledgement email to the applicant
• Building Control Submission Form – Word template containing the submissions details within an email sent to the applicant.

If these are not currently visible please request them to be configured (if required)
