Release 2.5 - ( Includes Process Cleardown Facility, Searching for Abandoned Processes and eMail Changes
OpenProcess � Process Retention Periods
There is a function that allows customers to configure Process Retention Periods. This allows you to specify the number of days that completed and abandoned processes will be retained for. When the specified number of days have elapsed the processes will be deleted by a stored process in the system.
OpenProcess - Setup - Processes
Click on the name of the Process:
On the Details tab you will see a field “Retention policy (number of days)” where you can type in the number of days for which completed and abandoned processes will be retained for.
Please note that Deleted processes cannot be recovered.
Searching for Abandoned Processes
The ability to abandon processes was added into Open process release 2.4. This release (2.5) now includes the ability to search for Abandoned Processes.
Notification eMail for Process Re-Allocation
A notification eMail will be sent out when a process has been reallocated from one user to another, to the new user.
Show Abandoned Steps in a Case
Steps will show as Abandoned in a Case where the process has been marked as abandoned
