Release 2.6 (b4) Ability to Hide Process Types

There is now functionality that will allow users to be able to hide process types.

This is to cater for scenarios where sites have an extensive list of process types and allows for the clutter of old/unused processes types to be hidden from the list.

OpenProcess Setup

Access Setup > Processes > Manage

From the ‘Process definitions’ page, select/click on the Process Type you wish to hide.

For Standard Processes:

The ‘Process details’ page opens to show the new  ‘HIDE’ tab:

Click  on the new ‘HIDE’ tab which opens to show the following:

Here the user is presented with a question which asks:

‘Are you sure that you want to hide this process type?’

  • If select ‘YES’ then, the user  will be taken back to the ‘Process definitions’ page where the selected process type will no-longer be visible.

NB: Once a process type has been ‘Hidden’ it is not possible for the user to reinstate it themselves.   This will need to be done manually, and added back into the list by IEG4.

  • If select ‘NO’ , the user  is immediately returned to the ‘Process definitions’ page – there is no change and the process type will still be visible.

For Revenues Processes:

From the ‘Process definitions’ page, select/click on the Process Type you wish to hide – this opens the ‘Process details’ page like this:

Here the user is presented with the question:  ‘Would you like to hide this process type?’

  • If select/click on ‘YES’ then, a second question appears i.e.,  ‘Are you sure that you want to hide this process type?’ like this:

If select/click on ‘YES’ to this  question then:

  • the user will be taken back to the ‘Process definitions’ page where the selected process type will not now be visible.

NB:  To reinstate a  Revenues Process – this too will need to be done manually, and added back into the list by IEG4.

  • If select ‘NO’ , the user is returned to the first question (e.g., ’Would you like to hide this process type‘) – here the user can now click the ‘CANCEL’ button which will take them back to the ‘Process definition’ page  –  no change will have taken place and the process type will still be visible.
