2.4 Release

The main updates for eClaim relate to the ability to support the new options for secure retrieval of saved forms and the framework for supporting CallValidate but there is also a useful enhancement recently added.

Enhancement - Improved UX for providing house/room details

Previously where a person was a private tenant they would need to provide details of the number of each room type in the property. Then how many were shared. Then how many were specific to them. 99% of the time they won't share rooms and so this design needed to be improved.

Now, when a person goes to the More About Your Tenancy page they will be asked whether they share the property with any other household. Only if they say yes to this do they need to outline which rooms are shared. This is illustrated with the new question shown on the left:
