OneVu - 2.12 (Service Pack - October 2020)

In this release we have remedied several things to ensure effective operations and compliance.

Accessibility Improvement

It was highlighted that it was not possible to tab (without a mouse) between content (FAQs) within a department and thus presented an issue will full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.

This release adjusts the nature of content (FAQ) headers to make them buttons which solves this issue.

As these are buttons they are keyboard focusable and CSS can also be applied to visualise the focus further as shown below:

Important

This change updates the HTML used by OneVu. The branding (styling) of OneVu is based upon the HTML and because this structure is now different, you need to ensure you request a change to your branding and test/confirm you're happy with this prior to requesting the upgrade is made to live. 

If no CSS changes are made, it will appear as follows i.e. the section head will just look like a button. 

Northgate Council Tax

An issue was found with registering for Council Tax where a person's full address was not being validated as a part of the authentication process. This has been remedied. 

Northgate Business Rates

When data related to rateable value was returned from Northgate Business Rates, it was not in chronological order. As such despite us selecting the most recent rateable value, this was not always correct. As such, we have enhanced our code to correct Northgate's Business Rate RV details into chronological order to ensure we always select the most recent one.
