eNotifications

eNotifications and Northgate

OneVu is capable of integrating with Northgate for the purposes of Council Tax, Benefits, Business Rates, Business Improvement Districts (BIDS), and Landlords.

The following illustrates the generic process if all of the above services are in place.

There are four notes in line the superscript markers in the diagram:

  1. The only reason we set the eBill marker in Northgate against the party is for staff to be aware of this. It is not used in the determination of which documents to print. The print organisation established which documents to print by comparison with the daily file of all linked back office references.
  2. The the CSV to be provided to IEG4 basically tells us all of the accounts/claims that are to be sent a notification and this file drives the notification process
  3. Landlord schedules will be created by the print company in the format desired by the council
  4. The final PDFs for every bill/notification will be imported by IEG4. Even those printed and issued. This means that should a customer opt in to eBilling 6 months after go live, they would see any bills created since the start of go live.

For the avoidance of doubt

  • The Print Company will be responsible for the following in the context of eNotifications:
        1. Importing the batch output from Northgate
        2. Generating a list of accounts/claims/landlords that are due to be sent a notification and saving this to a location accessible by IEG4
        3. Importing an IEG4 generated list of all accounts/claims/landlords linked to OneVu
        4. Using the list of all OneVu linked accounts/claims/landlords to compare with those due to be sent a notification and thus know whether to print it off or not
        5. Converting the batch output into user friendly PDFs with the council's branding etc. and then saving these, with a specific naming convention, to a location accessible by IEG4
        6. Converting the batch output into user friendly CSV/Excel Spreadsheets for the landlord schedules and then saving these, with a specific naming convention, to a location accessible by IEG4
