Questions About Gender in Forms
- eDesigner forms
Customer sites can add any Council-specific gender questions in eDesigner forms, and can then replicate those questions across other eDesigner forms, if required.
For example, if there is a requirement to adapt gender questions to something like this:
Female
Male
If you prefer to use your own term please provide this here:_________________________
Is your gender identity different to the sex you were assumed to be at birth?
Yes it's different
No it's the same
This can be achieved in eDesigner by adding a 'Shared section'.
You can create a shared section that has the questions you require. Then, on any forms you've built, this section can be incorporated by simply adding the shared section i.e. you'd only need to build this section once and then add it to the forms you've built where you want to capture your own Gender information.
An article here explains further about Shared lists and Sections:

Please note that changes to standard product forms, to include changes to existing gender based questions, would need to be raised and agreed across customers using the forms to obtain a consensus.
