Open Process Release Notes August 2026

The following functionality has been included in the latest release of Open Process.

Entra ID sign-in

Support for sign-in using Council Entra ID accounts is now available.

Step Action - send email to field value

It is now possible to send an email to a value stored in a process field

Open Process API changes

Two new Open APIs have been introduced in this release

Documents / Get Document by name

This API method has been fixed from this release and supports retrieval of a Document Id using the Process Id and Document name

Note: from this release of Open Process it is not possible to be signed in to Open Process Test and use Open Process API via the Swagger page in the same browser window.
