New Functionality

All Media now has a ‘Historic’ flag

All media screens now have an ‘historic’ indicator to allow media records to be marked as archived or historic.

Media tabs, when first loaded, will hide any media marked as historic.

There is a new toggle button available at the top of each media screen to allow historic media records to be shown or hidden.

New fields available in Clients

There are new fields available in the client area for country of birth, nationality and serial complainer.

Country of birth and Nationality are fed by a maintainable list.

Serial complainer, when switched on a client will, when the client is selected for a RFS, populate the serial complainer field in the RFS, found under the extra details tab, and display an icon in the top right-hand corner of the main RFS screen.

Requests for Service Extra Details now on Type

Requests for Service extra details/popup screens now run from RFS Types and not from RFS Categories.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to set or ensure your RFS Types have the appropriate screen selected to allow the screen to continue to pop up.

GDPR Settings

GDPR automation settings have now been altered so that GDPR retention periods can be switched on or off for each module.

There are new parameters in system parameters (New), which is a new screen available from the EH > System Menu. System Parameters now replace all previous $logical settings.

A new set of GPPR Rules can be created to automate how the system deals with retention periods, record types, within modules, media, documents and action notes associated with records.

PLEASE NOTE: This is currently only available and works for Housing Grants and will be rolled out to all modules shortly.

New fields available in Commercial Premises

There are new fields available in the health and safety tab for Commercials for Condensers.

Longer Defect description in HHSRS Inspections

The Defect field has been increased in length in HHSRS inspections.

New fields available Pest Costs

There are new fields available in pest costs maintainable area to allow for both commercial and domestic rates to be split into Net, VAT and Total amounts, and to also allow for a concessionary amount for each type of premises. Receipt Number is also available in the RFS extra details tab.

These rates are applied in the RFS pest control extra details tab and are triggered by location address and by selecting either ‘pension’ or ‘benefit’ in the radio button.

Trading Standards Inspections and Visits are Split

Trading Standards Inspections and Trading Standards Visits have been split apart and are now held in separate tables.

New unlimited note pad fields have been added to each area of the trading standards visits screen.

New fields available in Explosives

New fields are available in all explosives and fireworks screens to hold the type of explosive and the length of licence required.

New fields available in Pavement Cafes

New fields are available in Pavement Cafes for opening hours and whether a canopy is in use.

New fields available in Properties

New fields are available in all properties for EPC date and band. These are also available on the new Licensing HMO screen.

New fields available in Licensable HMOs

New fields are available in licensable HMOs, and this is largely a copy of the existing HMO area, with extra fields added to cover all heating sources.

The details from an HMO can be automatically copied in either direction to simplify the HMO detail recording.

Copying Media from record to record

Media files can now be copied from one record to another by using the select button and then the ribbon panel ‘copy’ button. A pop screen will ask which module and record you want to copy the selected media to.

PLEASE NOTE: This area will be further enhanced shortly to use a selection search facility rather than keying a record reference in.

Multi select delete function on all media

Multiple media records can be deleted at once, by using the select tick box to choose the files to be deleted and then clicking the ribbon panel ‘delete’ button.

Show previous Work Items for Licences and PC Contracts

It is now easier to locate actions added to previously closed work items for licensing and pest control contracts, where there may be multiple work items for any given record.

Automatic Email Sending from RFS

Emails can automatically be sent from RFS when they are first created. This function can be switched on by the system parameter 'RS_AUTOEMAILOFF' = ‘No’

This would trigger an email to be sent to the officer when either a new RFS is created or when the ‘passed to’ officer is changed.

Paragraphs

Paragraphs can now be used in rich text format (RTF). This allows paragraphs to be formatted with font style, size and colours, bold, italics, underlining and bulleted lists. The paragraphs are formatted into a Word document and must then be ‘included’ into your merged template in real time by using the new macro available.
