2.5 Release

1) Improved UX for providing house/room details when reporting a COA

Previously where a person was a private tenant they would need to provide details of the number of each room type in the property. Then how many were shared. Then how many were specific to them. 99% of the time they won't share rooms and so this design needed to be improved.

Now, when a person is reporting a COA, for the new property they are moving to they will be asked whether they share the property with any other household. Only if they say yes to this do they need to outline which rooms are shared. This is the same as the functionality added for eClaim, shown previously.

2) Enhanced data capture where a person become self employed after previously being on a passported benefit

If a person currently on a passported benefit states they have started work we ask whether they still receive the relevant passported benefit. If they say no to this they are taken through a set of pages/questions to garner the detail of what their income, capital, pensions are now they are no longer passported.

3) Enhanced data capture where a person ceases to receive Universal Credit

In the same way as 2) above the customer will now be asked for details of their income, capital, pensions now they no longer receive UC.

The  following amendments have been made to the eChanges service:

1) Partners - Child Care Costs

Prior to this release it was possible to report changes on multiple children's child care costs for the claimant but only one for partners. An amendment has been carried out to make the functionality equal irrespective of claimant/partner.

2) New State Pension

This is now supported when pulling back claims that have this set as the income type in the back office.

The following fixes have been done:

1) A correction has been done to ensure that an error is not presented if a child is moving in that is a child of a non-dependant.

2) Ensuring the 'Catch all evidence' function is hidden in line with your RBV settings. i.e. only show this if your settings allow this.

3) A correction was done to ensure SSP could be updated for Partners.

4) A correction was done to ensure there are no issues with a non-dependant moving in that are in a relationship with another non-dependant.
