Correcting eMail Addresses (Mailinator)

Mailinator - https://www.mailinator.com/ is an online disposable email service.

There are two benefits of using Mailinator ie:

• Changing the email of someone's account who is now deceased
• Changing the email of an account where the email has been entered incorrectly and therefore they do not receive the confirmation email

Mailinator can be used to create a temporary inbox which can be useful when trying to change an email for a OneVu account this is simply done as follows:

1. Open mailinator.com in your browser:

2. Enter/type text into the search e.g: tester123 and click ‘GO’.

3. In this case the temporary inbox for 'tester123@mailinator.com' is created.  You can then use your temporary inbox to change the email from one account to another and the email will arrive in this inbox to confirm.

NB:  These temporary email addresses lasts for 48 hours, during which you can send any number of registration verification links (or any other type of email) to that address.
