Change of Address 3.9
A new version of Integrated Change of Address Plus has been issued, containing the following changes:
CoAPlus Form Contact date for move within
To bring in line with a Move out of area, the date of the contact details now update to the date the form was submitted rather than the move date where the change is in the past.
For future changes of address, the date will continue to be the submission date
Removing Locally Defined Discounts on move
Where a Locally Defined discount has been awarded and a tenant moved out prior to the tenancy end date, there was an issue where the discount was continued to the end of the liability, rather than the move out date.
e.g.
If a person moves out prior to the tenancy end, e.g. moved 20/05/2024 tenancy ends 31/05/2024 we create an empty property discount from 20 May 2024. If there is also a Locally defined discount (LCTS) this too should end when the person moves out. Currently, we are leaving it on until the account end date, which is incorrect.
This is now fixed, in the scenario above, the Locally Defined Discount would end on 19/05/2024.
Move Within brings up SPD request when others are moving with the liable person – Form change
An issue was found where a move within form incorrectly brought up an SPD request for the new address where more than one adult was moving. This did not affect back office integration, as the SPD was not awarded due to the number of occupants.
This is now fixed
