      Enhancements to "My Account", Addresses and address verification for submissions

      My Account – Delete user account

      A new button has been added to “My account” to allow a user to delete their account.

      Sign up and My Account – New username features

      It is no longer necessary to create a username on the sign up page, just enter your email and password.

       

      Your username will be generated automatically when you sign up to the portal.

      A new 'Username' field has been added to the My Account page to allow you to change your APAS username

      Once you have saved your account details, the “Username” field will not be editable.

       

      Address enhancements

      The address now has a separate Flat Name field

      Display text of the address and order of the fields to be:

      UK

      Ireland
      •        Flat Name
      •       House Name
      •       House Number
      •       Street
      •       District
      •      Town/City
      •      Postcode
      •      Flat Name
      •      House Name
      •      House Number
      •      Street
      •      Locality
      •      Town/City
      •      Eircode

       

      Addresses are automatically verified in APAS when an address is selected from the gazetteer in the Portal and then transferred to APAS.

      This address change has been applied to “My Account” and “Submit Building Control Application” for Applicant, Agent and Location addresses.

      New configurations have been created to manage the gazetteer integration:

      • ADRESS_LINK_USE_GAZETTEER
      • ADRESS_LINK_REFRESH_DATA
