Concessionary Travel (2.12)

OneVu has now been enhanced to cater for integration with its Blue Badge/Concessionary Travel case management application. We will walk through the functionality provided below.

This release provides updates to OneVu that connect Concessionary Travel (Blue Badge & Freedom Pass) Case Management System and the functionality includes enabling your customers to:

  1. Link Blue Badge & Freedom Pass applications to their OneVu account quickly and securely
  2. View the current status of an application
  3. View the current status of payments
  4. Make direct payments via GOV.UK Notify
  5. Upload documents directly into the IEG4 case management application for concessionary travel

There is now a new Concessionary Travel department available (if you have the Blue Badge / Concessionary Travel Case management system). I.e. this functionality will work with Blue Badge applications and Freedom passes too.

Registering

After logging into OneVu and selecting Concessionary Travel the customer will be presented with the following fields to register their application account within OneVu:

  • Application reference- The case reference number will be included within the email, letter or text upon initial application or follow-up requests.
  • Last name- citizens Last Name
  • Year of birth - citizens Year of Birth

Linking applications

The customer can also link extra applications if they have made both a Blue Badge & Freedom Pass application.

The customer can favourite which linked application they view when logging in.

If the favourite is left un-selected the customer will see both linked applications upon initial entry into Concessionary Travel:

Viewing application info

The biggest difference between OneVu and the former approach (Blue Badge Self Serve) is that you are in control of the content inside the citizen portal. The content we're about to show can be added to or be structured/laid out differently. This is purely an example.

So an applicant can view all their statuses & process in simple, easy to follow tabs.

Status Trigger by Self-Service Tags linked to each workflow. The customer will see the title Badge Ordered and a subsequent statement explaining the update

Payment If payment is required the customer can select to Pay now via GOV.UK Pay.The example below shows that payment has been made displaying the following information:

  • Status
  • Date of Payment
  • Payment Reference number
  • Description of payment
  • Amount

Documents Upon automated request (email, Letter, SMS) the customer can upload missing items or further information required by the Concessionary Travel Team.  Documents will be uploaded directly to the Case Management system waiting for approval by the team. The customer can upload one document at a time.

Forms Further information, query or request forms can be linked within the Concessionary Travel area. Selecting the button will take the customer directly to the relevant form within OneVu.
