Can I change the search / authentication criteria for eChanges?

Yes, there are settings to facilitate this. By default, the search uses all of these to authenticate someone for change in circumstances:

  • Title
  • First Name
  • Surname
  • DOB
  • NINO

The following settings allow one to change this:

Setting Description

UsePostCodeInSearch

Setting this to true will add this to the default search criteria.

IncludedFirsnameInSearch

 Setting this to false will remove this from the default search criteria

IncludeLastnameInSearch

 Setting this to false will remove this from the default search criteria

IncludeTitleInSearch

 Setting this to false will remove this from the default search criteria
