What does the setting ShowIntegrationLookupException do?
By default the system will provide a response like this:
"We're sorry, this service is currently unavailable due to some maintenance work we are carrying out"
When the back office system i.e. Civica, Capita, Northgate is down/not running and or if the information they provide us is erroneous. If this setting is true it will allow you to see exactly what the message is that being passed so that one can diagnose any mapping/integration issues.
This should only be true in dev/test and turned on briefly in live if you need to check what the message is on a case that is failing to pull information back with the message above.
This setting is so that the user does not see any error messages etc.
