How can I ensure the customer needs to justify a long period of discount?
In each online form where a discount can be applied for i.e. SPD, Discounts / Exemptions, Change of Address it is possible to ask the customer for justification of why they have delayed in applying. The way to do this is to go to System Management > Settings and select the form you wish to update this for. There is a setting:
AskWhyDelayAfterDays
This allows you, the Council, to set a maximum retrospective period before the citizen will be asked to provide a reason for the delay. This will be a value in days e.g. 31 is what you might set it to if you wish to ask this for any discount >1 month ago.
