OneVu 2.12 - Civica Benefits
We have enhanced the mechanism that pulls out the benefit information from Civica to also check council tax. The purpose of this is to establish if they've changed address - this is because Civica behaves poorly comparative to both Capita and Northgate Benefit systems in terms of authentication.
With Civica OpenRevenues, you need property reference to authenticate. With Capita/Northgate you only need claim reference. So for those systems only claim reference matters. For Civica both claim number and Property reference matter.
This has meant that now, every time a person accesses their benefit claim we are doing additional checks in both benefits and council tax systems in Civica to check if their address has changed from when they initially registered.
