OneVu - 2.12 (Service Pack)

 

Ahead of our major release in the Autumn, we have created a service pack to add some nice enhancements in and also cater for some issues that have been identified.

Enhancements

The enhancements added are as follows:

Avoidable Contact Recording

Currently, when logging a call, it is possible to record the department (service area) and the contact type (the specific reason for the call). In this release, we have added the ability to record, on a department by department basis, the ability to record whether a call was avoidable or not.

This is shown below:

This is set up in a new area within the Service areas section of OneVu's Management functionality:

The user is able to add new reasons, show/hide them, change the wording of them, and change the order of them as shown above. 

 

IMPORTANT

If you want to use this functionality you need to ensure that you set/add at least one contact type for every service area, as once a reason is added, the contact type drop-down becomes mandatory. The exception to this is that it is possible to add reasons and set them to not show until you're ready. But once you've shown any of them this becomes mandatory for all service areas. 

I guess the way to way to see it, is that you should add all of your reasons and set them not to be shown until you're ready to go live with the function.

 

In a future release, the Customer Service Reporting will be updated to report upon this too. All data recorded today has been done in such a way that it will be reportable on. I.e. when the reporting is made available it will work retrospectively.

The timeline has been updated to show the specific reason for the call not just the department as well as now also recording whether it was avoidable or not:

Northgate Council Tax - Instalments and Special Arrangements

In this release, we've added two new areas of functionality for the Northgate Council Tax area of OneVu.

Namely the ability to show a person's instalment plan and also details of any special arrangements on their account.

Fixes

 The fixes done in this service pack are as follows:

Customer Service Timeline

There were various issues as follows:

  • Filtering the timeline by all event types would show nothing
  • Ensured that when notes are added they show the council department they relate to
  • Ensured that when forms are completed this shows in the timeline 
  • There were occasions where items were duplicated

These are now resolved for all future updates made on accounts

Northgate Business Rates 

There was an issue where the user needed to enter the business name in capitals in order for it to authenticate. This has now been amended to allow any case.

Northgate Council Tax

There was an issue where only the last liable part on an account was showing. I.e. if Mr John Smith and Mrs Jane Smith were on an account only Mrs Jane Smith would show. This has been remedied.
