Revenues Automation (RPO) 1.0.73
We have continued to enhance our Revenues Process Orchestration functionality and the following updates are available now.
This release provides three new features.
1) Changing Bank Account Name
When a Direct Debit is set up we automatically update Northgate with the payment instalment information including providing the bank details.
However, if bank account information is already held in Northgate this is not overwritten. I.e. if a person's bank account name has changed from J SMITH to J MCMAHON, this was not being updated by Northgate even though the new details were provided.
We have therefore enhanced our process to call yet another API - UpdateDDInstruction.
This API comes with the ability to change bank account name and so we now additionally call this to ensure the bank account name is always reflective of the details provided on the new DD, not the details previously held.
This change ensures better BACS policy compliance.
2) Include / Exclude Caller Id
There is now a setting that means that you can choose whether you want the caller information to be populated into Northgate when the DD is created.
If you want this information to NOT be present when the Direct Debit is set up you should set it to true.
3) Smart DD Account Email & PDF attachment
There is now a new feature that means that when a Direct Debit is submitted, the customer is automatically emailed a letter confirming the details of their Direct Debit info. An example of the letter with the relevant customisable sections is shown below:
IMPORTANT
The Latest Form Version Number and that needed is: 2.3.2
4) Single Person Discount Review Date
With Single Person Discounts it is possible to now automatically set a review date. This is set up in configuration and so should be requested through the helpdesk or as a part of your implementation.
The default is 365 days from the date of award but can be whatever number of days is desired.
