1) Schema Update
From this release of eChanges the version of the schema that will be used will be the April 2020 version. This is backward compatible and so no change to councils. However, if you upgrade to this version and the back office does not yet support this, then that could cause an issue. So before upgrading to this version ensure that your back office is also at a version that supports the capture of IP address as highlighted below.
2) Capture of IP Address
The IP address the citizen was using at the point of the form's submission will be present in the XML request sent to the back office. This is provided as follows in the XML:
<Header> <Advisor> <InternalAdvisorId>IEG4 InternalAdvisorId> <AdvisorName> <pdt:PersonGivenName>Agency pdt:PersonGivenName> <pdt:PersonFamilyName>Administrator pdt:PersonFamilyName> <pdt:PersonRequestedName>Agency Administrator pdt:PersonRequestedName> AdvisorName> <AdvisorLocalAuthorityCode>IEG4 AdvisorLocalAuthorityCode> <AdvisorType>LA AdvisorType> Advisor> <Security> <SourceId>IEG4 SourceId> <UserId>lambdba UserId> <SourceUserId>IEG4User SourceUserId> Security> <SubmissionIPAddress>81.152.127.136 SubmissionIPAddress> Header>
Back office suppliers will be or will have made changes to the back office application to support this.
3) Partners reporting changes in childcare costs
There was previously an issue that partners reporting child care costs had different behaviour in terms of the data sent to the back office. This has now been amended to work exactly as it does for claimants.
