eDesigner and GDPR Deletion Process
IEG4 provide customers with the ability to specify form retention periods.
These can be specified separately for
- forms which are completed and submitted
- forms which are not completed/submitted
Customers specify a number of days for the 2 groups of forms to be retained before the deletion process removes any personally identifiable information from the database (leaving only general information to support reporting).
The GDPR deletion process operates on IEG4 product forms except the following 4 categories.
- Social Fund Case Management
- OpenProcess
- Blue Badge Case Management
- CHC Case Management
The GDPR deletion process DOES act on any forms built (generally by customers themselves) using the eDesigner product.
IEG4 assume that any information, held within the eDesigner forms, will be transferred to a back office system and or a document management system, before the GDPR deletion process runs. Customers will be responsible for ensuring this is the case.
