Change of Address - Updates to NEC (Previously Northgate) Integration Nov 2022
A new version of the integration process has been released for the COA Plus form for NEC sites. At this release there is a new background Setting for Move In called StopMoveInExistingAccount.
The default value for the setting is False.
The Move In process already has a Setting that allows a date range to be set for the integration to determine whether to use the existing account or to terminate the existing account and create a new one.
If the Move In date is within the date range then it will use the existing account. If the Move In date is outside the date range it will terminate the account and create a new one.
From this new release when the new Setting StopMoveInExistingAccount is set to False, the process works as it does now for the Move In scenario
When StopMoveInExistingAccount is set to True, if the Move In date is within the date range and the existing account is going to be used, a Business Exception will instead be created and the processing will be stopped so that a member of staff can review the accounts.
This new functionality is available from release 1.7 of the Revenues API
