Citizen Portal Building Control v2.4 Release Notes

Enhancement of automated email to Applicants/Agents upon submission of a case.

New merge fields added to email that is generated to the Applicant/Agent upon submission of an application.

The Building Control Citizen Portal is now automatically generating an email to the Agent/Applicant acknowledging receipt of the case. Two new merge fields (Location and Proposal) have been added to the body of the generated email, so Agents/Applicant now receive:

“Hello, your building control application regarding a two-storey side extension at 24 Festive Road, Gowerton, SA12 6TY has been received and has been allocated a temporary reference of BCT1368.

Once the application has been registered, you will be able to track the progress within the ‘My Applications’ section of your Citizen Portal Building Control Account’.

Thank you for your submission.”
